Our tag line, “The only place to conference”, is pretty punchy for a small, family owned and run conference venue but then we actually truly believe it. We believe that Waterval and its wonderfully friendly and engaging staff enable our clients to relax and focus on why they are here. Let’s face it, if you are spending your companies hard earned cash then you want everything to run smoothly!
That’s why we offer a free meeting at your offices before your arrival so that we can go through all your individual needs and outline how we can fit into your conference or team building schedule.
One of our management team is on hand 24hrs a day whilst you are at Waterval. This is regularly stated in hotels but never really felt. We pride ourselves on this commitment to our guests.
Another point that our clients regularly comment on is, exclusivity. Usually at a normal boring hotel you have to worry about other regular guests. You will be told at what time the bar shuts, you will be told when to turn down your evening entertainment and you will have to fit into the other hotels timings for meals. This does NOT happen at Waterval. We do not take normal outside guests. We only take corporate or private function bookings. This enables us to give you exclusivity to either the whole venue, depending on your size of group, or to split two different corporate groups between “Guinea Fowl Lodge” and “The Bush Camp”. These purpose built evening venues are far enough apart so as not to disturb the other group and have their own individual evening entertainment venue and huge 24 seater Jacuzzis.
